First off, download the pattern or draw one on your own. Cut out your pattern, then grab the rectangular pattern piece and place it on the corner of your main fabric making sure not to include any of the salvage. Cut the fabric out accordingly, then repeat the same process with the batting fabric. Using a vanishing ink pen, mark ¾” from the bottom corner of the fabric toward the side, then another ¾” up, and connect those two marks with a slanted line. Continue making diagonal lines that are ¾” apart from each other until all of the fabric is covered with a crisscross pattern. Grab the batting fabric and lay it down with its glue side facing up, then place the lined main fabric on top with its wring side facing down on the glue side of the batting. Press them together with an iron, then sew them together by following the marked lines on the fabric. Grab the pattern for the pineapple’s body, then place it on top of the main fabric piece, and cut out 2 pieces from it.
Assemble the pattern for the small loop, cut them out on the lining fabric or any plain yellow fabric, and sew. Cut out the small notches on the pattern for the pineapple’s body, place it on top of a folded yellow lining fabric, then trace the shape, and cut them out including the notches. Set them aside. Trace the two crown pattern on the green craft felt, then cut them out. Place the front piece on top of the back piece making sure it’s centered, then sew them together. After sewing the crown, grab the loop fabric, insert it on the hook, then sew it onto the crown. Separate the zipper, then sew them on each side of the main fabric of the pineapple’s body, then sew the lining fabric of the pineapple’s body on the other side of each zipper. Then attach the hook and crown on top of the pineapple’s body before sewing the main fabric and lining fabric shut. Turn it right side out, then tuck. Watch the video for more detailed instructions.
