A sturdy backpack looks to make its mark on Kickstarter with an attached marker pen and the freedom to draw and write on its paper surface.

The creator of the DrawBag, John Knauss explains: “The DrawBag is a simple idea that came from three different, yet related things: a love for the classic backpack, a recent move in the bag industry toward the use of paper, and an obsession with writing and sketching on any available surface since high school.”

The DrawBag is made from an attractive kraft paper that is thick and strong enough to be hand washed. With an included marker and a pocket built into the shoulder strap, it’s always ready to be signed during graduation week or sketched on when inspiration hits. The DrawBag’s surface comes completely blank or in three different printed designs to encourage self-expression, while its waterproof fabric liner provides assurance for whatever you may store inside.
